Sad Parting

Today was the day that was six weeks in the making. We dropped my parents off to the airport. A lot has happened in the past month and a half. Rachel's wedding couldn't be moved, but Armaan came in 10 days early to no one's dismay, but everyone's delight! He got to spend that much extra time with his grandparents. Parting is sorrowful, no matter how many memories you take with you. Priya insisted on kissing 'dada' and 'dadi' before she went to bed, and is going to be confused for a few days. I took an additional week off from work, so that will be nice.

The sleeping baby! Can we hear an "Awwww...."?!!

Hey look! We match!

Aww...parting is never fun. I cannot even begin to imagine how that will be for me when we have a baby and have to say goodbye to my parents. I'm sure it's a million times harder to have your parents out of the country. My prayers are with you guys!!

Hello and a tarde congratulations on the birth of Armaan. I love the name Priya too. Obviously Nathanael is my first baby so I cannot compare him to another sibling but he is very well behaved and this might be a boy thing so LONG may it continue! Watching you videos makes me go AAAHHHHHHHH how cute! Take care X

I have pictures of my family and the kids outside the house (Highland house) like yours, the day they left. I know how you feel, and I know ones heart breaks for our kids now, not ourselves. I thank God for the advancement of technology with skype, and msn and simple email. Helps brings them back in a little.

Yeah, it's hard and it stinks! My parents come August 7 and although I'm excited I'm already dreading Aug 28 when they have to leave. I'm glad there's you and Kathy who understand! PS I hope you post my comment!!! PPS I was getting too many weird ones on mine that I had to lock it down!

Bipin & Tish,

When are they coming back? My Mother-in-Law will be here from England next month. She'll be here for three weeks!! Yeah! I know I hate when she leaves, we both are sobbing at the airport! The kidlets are so precious! Isn't it a wonderful feeling being a Mommy and Daddy?
