This side of vacation time

Sooo... my vacation finally starts. Well, it's the second day today, and it's been great just hangin' around the house. I haven't had to do much shopping this year because we decided that most of the present money is going to go towards stuff for the new bed. Speaking of which, here it is...

The bedding and stuff is all from our old queen bed, which is sitting in the basement. Our old queen set gets tossed in the meantime. Anyone have any suggestions on where a good place is to go for headboards?

So, on Friday I thought, well.. Tish should get something. So I ended up going on Amazon, and getting one of these.

I know Michelle has said in the past that she wasn't very thrilled with the one she has (she's always on the cutting edge of technology). This one is of a newer generation of Roombas, and I'm hoping it at least does what it's advertised to. Watch out for a review.

On a side note, I was having a conversation with a friend on how gifts like these aren't really perceived as "gifts" by women. I mean who wants to get something that reminds them that they have work to do up ahead? I guess I can understand that. Still, I hope it's a cool 'gift.'

Our continued attempts at self-portraits. You can see how much we enjoy them.

Boiled eggs for breakfast.

One last thing, the Roomba is a cool gift, it says " Love I know you do a lot, so I wanted to make your life SO MUCH easier."

A roomba is a cool gift. Joy and I each got one last christmas and you have never seen two women more excited about their christmas presents. We were seriously each crying tears of joy. The thing to remember is that it is a robot. So, if you have a problem with it, you have to phone the robot scientists.

i never use my Roomba... perhaps I should call those scientists. What did Tish think?

I hate boiled eggs.

Haha, I got a car vacuum and a rice cooker for Christmas ~ but I was thrilled about both! :) How did Tish like the Roomba?

Nice bed. I just told Fabio last night that I wish he would make us a headboard. With a carpenter in the house, I never thought of *shopping* for one! ;-)

I dont like boiled eggs either.

Sorry girls but I am personally of the opinion that anything that includes a chore is not a good gift!!! Tim hates getting tools for Christmas too!!!!
