Should Have Stayed Home...

There are some days when it's just better not to get out of bed. Today was the first major winter storm of the season. To find out what happened to me last year at the same time, read this. Maybe I should have learned a lesson from that. But when I woke up this morning, it still hadn't started snowing. So I thought maybe I could beat it, and still get to work before the worst of it hits us. Well... about 20 miles into my journey the drive started getting hazardous. At that point, I thought it will take me the same amount of time to head back home, as it would be to get to work. So onward I went. I've finally made it to work, but looking out of the window now, I don't have high hopes of getting home early tonight. I can just hope that by mid-afternoon the snow ends, and the roads have been ploughed.

My poor car is half-buried already

She is really pretty.

Ah yes the snow, wow we were covered, I must say I don't miss having to dig my way out of the house.

To bad there wasn't a train to your work. Those were some of the best days riding the train when the snow was coming down. It was so pretty and then you saw everyone else getting stuck in it outside the window.

Hey Bipin,
Is Priya enjoying the snow this year? Now that she's getting older? lol Since we moved here to NC while Zachariah was a babe he doesn't know what snow is! Poor kid. I'll have to take him home to Michigan and give him a treat!

Hey, how about a pregnancy update for us out in the far off distant places.

We rarely get snow here anymore. David loves it. I think it is pretty but an really frightened about driving in it. We had a near miss a couple of years ago. In the UK we never really seem to be ready for weather extremes, although it seems that things are moving that way. I remember trains being cancelled because of 'leaves on the line' in Autumn. Well, duh.......
